This Research Unit is focused on the Artificial Intelligence specific topics and its various branches such as Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Deep Learning, Continuous Learning, Self Learning, Reinforcement Learning, etc. In addition, it concentrates its effort on the management of large amounts of data (also known as big data) that are the most important ingredient of each Machine Learning applied technique.
To these aims, it is fundamental for the research, the contribution of the researchers of the ING-INF/05 scientific sector, but also the contribution of the research centers affiliated to the I-STORE like the CNR-ISASI center, that is the Institute of Applied Sciences and Intelligent Systems devoted to accomplish innovative research in different fields from basic to applied research with a strong interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary character, according to the strategic plans of National Research Council and within the new paradigm of Convergence of Sciences.
