Due to the increasing interest of the international community in the Agrofood sector the Agrofood research unit is in charge of the management of all activities regarding such sector within the I-STORE center. It is responsible for the ideation, the implementation, the test and the final promotion and adoption of innovative ICT technologies aimed at further enhancing activities and tasks to improve the final products sold to the final customers.
Specifically, research activities are carried out in strict collaboration with companies interested in adopting new technologies to fasten and improve their activities through the exploitation of innovative tools, instruments, sensors but also techniques like the Artificial Intelligence ones. This unit collaborates with all the other Applied Research Units promoting the idea of cross-domain joint solutions and actions.
